Go and support our local San Joaquin Delta College of Culinary Arts this year while we showcase their top chefs in an “Iron Chef” challenge! The chefs are in it to win it and will give the audience some intense cooking skills as they are timed and up against heavy pressure to be the best chef. All year the students have been preparing and perfecting their craft, so it all comes down to this event. . .
Round 1 semifinalist – $150
Round 2 semifinalist - $150
Second Place – $250
Finalist – $500
So, if you’re thinking about going to a culinary arts college, know someone attending the school, or just love good food and entertainment; remember to come check out the CHEF OF THE FEST live competition going on all three days, all day long. (PS – There are going to be professional chefs as well, so you’ll get a wide range of experienced chefs this year at the Stockton Asparagus Festival April 27 – 29.)

I watch all the shows that you mentioned. I was moved by the nfaile episode of Amazing Race too, and Top Chef this year is so far the best but I wish Bryan won!and oh I love your blog. Reading it makes me want to know you more.
