Metro Express Service
San Joaquin Regional Transit District (RTD) has partnered with the Asparagus Festival to offer fast and frequent Metro Express service to Downtown Stockton on all three days of the Festival. With buses arriving every 10 minutes, you will be able to ride RTD’s new 60-foot articulated buses from any Metro Express stop along Pacific Avenue and get dropped off right at the Festival front gate. Also, you can quickly and easily purchase Metro Express all day passes online here (link to the “tickets” page) along with your Asparagus Festival tickets and print them at home.

One-Day Discount Bus Pass: $2.00**
Children 4 & under: FREE***
*Customers may use other, valid RTD fares to ride Metro Express to the Festival.
**Discount Fare valid only for seniors (age 65 & over) and Medicare card holders.
***Up to three children age 4 & under ride free of charge when accompanied by a fare-paying adult. Additional children require a full fare.
Driving Directions & Parking:
If you are coming to the festival on Friday and you are coming in from Hwy 99 please take SR4 to N/B I-5 to the Pershing Street exit and utilize arena parking. If you are coming in from the south, N/B I-5 please take the Downtown Stockton, El Dorado Street exit and if you are coming from the north, S/B I-5 please take the Fremont Street exit and utilize arena parking.
If you are coming to the festival on Saturday or Sunday and you are coming from Hwy 99 take Hwy 4 West, then take the Stanislaus Street exit and follow signs to parking. If you are coming in from the south, N/B I-5 please take the Pershing Street exit and utilize the arena parking and if you are coming from the north, S/B I-5 please take the Fremont Street exit and utilize arena parking.
There is plenty of parking available… but arrive early to the festival to get the best spots. One of your best choices could be to take convenient, public transportation. See below.

Flat Surface Lot: $10.00
Visitors and Vendors can receive discounted rates at local hotels. For inquiries and hotel bookings visit Places to Stay.
From the Bay Area: Take Hwy.680 East to Hwy.580, follow Hwy 580 through Tracy where it turns into Hwy.205, then take I5 North.
From Sacramento: Take I-5 south towards Stockton. Take the Hwy 4 E exit toward Hwy 99/ Downtown Stockton.
