Your business is participating in the largest charitable food festival in the State of California. By saying largest we mean the largest annual contribution to over 129 San Joaquin County charities.

This multi-award winning event was lauded by Sunset Magazine, March 2000,”#1 Best of the West Food Fest.”

In 2011, we donated $351,457 to over 129 non-profits who volunteered 29,000 hours at the festival. To date over $5.5 million has been given to participating charities.

Look at the Numbers…

The average festival attendance over the three day event will soar between 100,000-110,000 so far to date.  The beautiful downtown waterfront location boosts Banner Island Ballpark home to the Stockton Ports Minor League Baseball Stadium, the Stockton Arena host to major concerts, events and Thunder Hockey, as well as the University Plaza Waterfront Hotel and Marina.

The festival and the City of Stockton are partners in producing the largest charitable festival in California.

Festival Image
The festival is a very safe family friendly environment, easily accessible to baby strollers, wheelchair, handicap and disabled clients. The goals of the festival are to promote a positive image for Stockton and San Joaquin County, to promote tourism, and raise money for local non-profits.

Media Participation
The Asparagus Festival’s enormous success is the fruition of a year-long marketing plan. A multi-media advertising campaign will showcase the event the entire month of April. We boast live on-site coverage by KCRA TV3/My 58. Over two dozen, local Sacramento, and Bay Area radio stations blast the airwaves with special features, ticket-giveaways and festival highlights.
