The Department of Rock will bring together the masses of head banging, body slamming, die-hard party fans from all around the state of California and afar! The ultimate in cover bands delivers the high octane, electric guitar that’s from all the great ‘70’s, ‘80’s and 90’s rock classics. Sounding exactly like Journey, Led Zeppelin, Alice In Chains, and Kings of Leon; you won’t believe it’s not them!
The Department of Rock will be performing Saturday, April 16th at 1 PM on the main stage of the Asparagus Festival in Downtown Stockton. It is their mission to protect and defend the nation from all the sub-standard rock that reeks up the world. Join them in saluting to a good cause and come on to feel the noise and all you girls grab your boys!
Covergrrlz-Rock Hits With Glitz!

The CoverGrrlz are the Bay Area’s most rockalicious all-woman cover band. They deliver some fierce rock and roll hits, and will spice up this year’s Stockton Asparagus Festival with some of your favorite hits played with passion and energy. These rockin’ chicks have been performing together for over three years. They have a blast playing classic songs like Don’t Be Cruel by Elvis Presley, Ramble On by Led Zeppelin and Hot Blooded by Foreigner just to name a few.
They recently just opened for Blue Oyster Cult at Slim’s in San Francisco and had such a good time they though they would do it again at this year’s festival. These girls will be rocking out on Saturday, April 24th at 1:30PM on the main stage.
