This San Jose group took inspiration from the timeless pop qualities that came from the ‘60’s, making their sounds playful and fun for the whole family!

The Stockton Asparagus Festival is celebrating its 25th Anniversary and Major league eating will be there for the fifth year in a row.
Always a favorite event at the festival, The World Deep-Fried Asparagus Eating Championship is set for Saturday, April 24th at 12:00pm on the main stage. Do you have the stomach for it?
If you feel brave enough to take on the likes of Pat “Deep Dish” Bertoletti and Joey Chestnut come on down and chow down. Spots are now available to the public so if you want to take on the big boys in this contest, make sure to sign up now. Spots are going fast!
Not only does the winner get to walk away with the title of World Deep-Fried Asparagus Eating Champion they will also receive a cash prize of $1,500. Runner up and third place winners will receive $750 & $500, respectively. Do you have the mental and physical ability to take the title this year?

Covergrrlz-Rock Hits With Glitz!

The CoverGrrlz are the Bay Area’s most rockalicious all-woman cover band. They deliver some fierce rock and roll hits, and will spice up this year’s Stockton Asparagus Festival with some of your favorite hits played with passion and energy. These rockin’ chicks have been performing together for over three years. They have a blast playing classic songs like Don’t Be Cruel by Elvis Presley, Ramble On by Led Zeppelin and Hot Blooded by Foreigner just to name a few.
They recently just opened for Blue Oyster Cult at Slim’s in San Francisco and had such a good time they though they would do it again at this year’s festival. These girls will be rocking out on Saturday, April 24th at 1:30PM on the main stage.
