Are you finding yourself going outside more and more, only to play golf? Maybe your friends say you have an extremely accurate long game? If you answered yes to either of these questions, you had better get yourself down to the Hole in One Contest on the weekend of April 15th! During the Asparagus Festival, swing the club to try and get the ball over the water and in the hole on McLeod Lake. The top golfers will be chosen to participate in the final round for the opportunity to win the grand prize on Sunday afternoon, April 17th. The top 20 golfers closest to the hole during trials will have one chance to sink a hole-in-one from 90 yards away.
The perfect swing could earn you some major green or a new set of wheels!

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, at the Stockton Asparagus Festival, golfers of all ages can put their golfing skills to the test. Swing the club to try and get the ball over the water and in the hole on McLeod Lake. Each ball costs 50 cents and is shot from a platform 40 yards away. Seven lucky competitors on Friday and Saturday and six on Sunday will be chosen to participate in the final round for the opportunity to win the grand prize.
Those closest to the hole will be asked to come back on Sunday afternoon for the finals. Then, the top 20 golfers closest to the hole during trials will have one chance to sink a hole-in-one from 90 yards away. We have been trying to give this money away for years and came within 9 inches once.
So start practicing your game now and this just may be the year you win!
Prizes include a $100,000 annuity and a Mercedes Benz donated by Berberian European Motors.
